There is absolutely no doubt that Georgia is one of the most beautiful places on Earth, and Batumi Botanical Garden only proves it.

One of the biggest botanical gardens of the former Soviet Union, Batumi Botanical Garden spread on 109 hectares area along the Black Sea shore, nearly 9 km to the north of Batumi. One should head to Makhinjauri and then reach the place called Mtsvane Kontskhi, what means “Green Cape”, to appear in the beautiful world of Batumi Botanical Garden.

Today, on 26 May, Georgia, one of the best countries I’ve visited, celebrates its Independence Day.

This holiday has a long history and tradition and is marked by great military parades, speeches of politicians and influential figures and great festivities all over the country, with the stunning festivals and various events, offered for Georgians and guests of this beautiful Caucasian country.

When we talk about such an important holiday we should definitely talks about its history and background.
